Lasershow Designer QuickShow is built on an entirely new foundation. It has completely new philosophies, so no, the workspace is not compatible. BUT, the workspace that we include with QuickShow was made by Derek Garbos, a person in Canada who has been a laserist for probalby as long as Glenn Turner. I don't think it will be quite as good as what we put out for LivePRO, but mostly because the workspace are really highly evolved over a number of years.
Again, consider how we are positioning these two things:
* LD2000 is the top-level software for true laser professionals. As a testament, LD2000 has won more technical awards, and helped win more artistic awards over the last 10 years than all other software packages combined.
* LD QuickShow is meant to be cheap and easy to use software, mostly for "dummies" (not true laser professionals). It's really a completely different philosophy...
My thinking is -- if you already have LD2000, then you have a really large and complete toolbox. QuickShow is pretty cool, but it won't convert 3D graphics or Flash any time soon, and it doesn't come with 120 shows and 350,000 laser frames, etc...
Hehe. I can't say this is entirely untrue ;-)

Some of us "cheapskates" simply can not afford LD2000 right off the bat.
What's wrong with a tiny mouse getting a spot of cheese?
Anyone wanting to test the new software once it is released for the FB3..... Here is the deal: I will send you my FB3 and software. You send me your LD2000 Pro (or any version). we can swap for as long as you would like to check out the new stuff. Then we can trade back. (1) trade good for as long as you choose. Gratis. Except for post.
Any whiners up for it?
I'm in.

Ah,cool.I am waiting for this,Bill
Oh man...Richard, I know you were being sarcastic, but for the others reading this it needs to be said for the record. First, there is no "official Pangolin vehicle". Second, Bill's personal car isn't a Hummer. (Not even close) And finally, Pangolin as a whole isn't the sort of company that prides itself on "all expenses paid international jaunts"...
As an example - when we were on the ILDA cruise last year, there were a couple company representatives (other companies, not Pangolin) that upgraded to the very expensive balcony suite cabins for the cruise, but Bill was in the same block of cabins that everyone else was. So it's not like he's out there chartering private jets on the corporate dime. In fact, if you ever visit the company headquarters, you'll see that it's a very modest office building. Not lavish in the least. (Well, with the one exception of the awesome electronic test equipment they have on the workbench, but that's understandable considering the business they're in.)
Sure he travels a lot, but so does Patrick Murphy, Greg Makhov, and Hugo Bunk for that matter. It's the nature of the business.

Sad....
Why did you make it pink? And where are the laser projectors?
Adam
Hey man, just joking!
That's because I rendered this stretched hummer for some graphics a couple of months ago ( http://www.pimpteam.nl/ )Why did you make it pink?
Behind! And where are the laser projectors?
"Pimp Team"? Is that a band, or a company that does body work on hummers?
Yeah, I knew you were just joking... Though I bet those rear-facing laser projectors would be good for getting rid of people that follow too closely!
Adam
I wonder what company exactly may have had one of these lavish balcony suites?
go big or go home
