And the neat thing is how many of us here have dual reds or violets in our systems just add more drivers!!!!

Oh, and guess, what! The eyes integrate, so there is a good chance you wont have to add much more of a second green, if at ALL. And there may be another trick available with the 473 blues. I have to track down a retired engineer and ask how to do it, but I'm told AO devices can rotate polarization as well. That came from the former president of a Major AO company well all know and love, and he was serious about it. I think I know where to find him, but hes in his mid 70s.
Most DPSS blues, if not all, are inherently polarized, as are DPSS greens made with vandate, which is 95% of whats out there.

Now before you all go to BigBoxMart and buy polarizing goggles, you should be made aware that modern polarized sun glasses are OFTEN circular polarized, which must be frustrating hundreds of kids using these older how to do it science fair project books. CP will NOT work in most cases for laser 3D.

this has been done before, and pangolin has a Z output for a reason. But it has not, to the best of my knowledge , ever been done without two scan heads or a expensive fast LCD rotation device or a EO rotation device.
Since we just happened to have built polarization into diode arrays for combining, my brain went ChaChing! this morning.

Do me a favor folks, those of you who have some polaroid film polarizers or green cubes laying around the house , check your yags for me, I need to know whats out there....

Note that the IMAX 3d system is linearly polarized (but at a slant angle of 45 degrees!) while the cheap RealD system is circularly polarized (clockwise vs anticlockwise). They changed this to make it less sensitive to the viewer's head position.
