Yes, this device gives variable divergence, and also the possibility to even get a lower output divergence when compared to the input divergence. When we made our tests and the video we showed at ILDA, our out-going divergence was 1/3 of the incoming divergence, but variable to the point where the out-going divergence could be quite high as well.

    Bill,

I look forward to it becoming available for sale, any bit of kit I can get my hands on to make a safer show I'm all for.

It's also another piece of information I can give to the "authorities" when I get questioned on the health and safety aspect of Laser shows.

I'm gutted I could not be at ILDA conference, sounds like I missed out big time !!

Wanted to go but my wife was not sure about how our six month old daughter would react to laser shows.. I already knew she would love it - I mean she loves the flashing lights above her bed spends hours staring at them.

    Just like her dad.

    Cheers,

    Nigel.

Certain people came only to the Pangolin User Meeting on June 8, and decided to completely forgo the ILDA meeting. You did miss a lot at this particular meeting and, aside from little stints to various PL events, I am not sure when you'll have a chance to see this informaiton presented again this year...

I guess the best thing to do, when it concerns Pangolin events, is to keep an eye on the "What's new at Pangolin" page at our web site.

You don't mention it, but presumably this decreased divergence is at the expense of increased diameter, so as not to defy conventional physics, right?

Hehe. We do a lot of very special things , including, not breaking, but coaxing the laws of physics to do what we want.

    Stay tuned...

Pangolin = Alchemists, toying with the laws of physics, we will all be sucked in to a super massive black hole (or Gordon Brown's trade deficit)

Well when they release a Fb3 that makes gold as well as control lasers, I'm definitely buying it!

Check out their QM2000 card, infused with water, it produces a drink that gives the drinker eternal life.

    I knew it!

and woa yup heard about Beam Brush, on LEM.
Just woa Bill really has an endless sea of idea's
I mean most people think nowadays that inventing is not that much possible as we so called "already" invented all of it.

But nope Bill did it again +42 for that.
    42 because it's the answer.....to everything

    *edit*
just was looking again and found this video:

I've been dyin to try a few experiments in Beam Brush Width control and plan to build around cd/dvd pick-up device(s)... how bad can it be???
