So what else would you need to add and do to the diode to make it usable in a projector? How much would that cost? I have yet to invest in anything for a projector but if this is a spankin' good deal on a very desirable wavelength it may not be a bad time to buy.
So there is a higher Po coming......then these will drop more ......stack of 6 diodes = larger hole in wallet but what power! Only drawback is that there is a $45 fee for shipping a package under 1ld to the US I have been alerted. Maybe do a GB with these things?

There was only pennies difference in the price between the 150 and 250mW in the quote I received.

could be better if two were stacked together, as the beam is rectangle... that would give something close to a square
but to couple 4 with a PBS it would need 2 horizontally stacked and 2 vertically stacked, which could be tricky to design
