So what else would you need to add and do to the diode to make it usable in a projector? How much would that cost? I have yet to invest in anything for a projector but if this is a spankin' good deal on a very desirable wavelength it may not be a bad time to buy.

You just need an aixiz module (less than $5) and then some sort of heatsink to put it in, like an aluminum block with a 12mm hole in the middle (aixiz module is 12mm OD I believe)

    Easy!!

Ya... seriously... that's a heck of a deal... if I had some $$$ to throw right now I'd be buying a whole tray!

I'm saving up for the 250mW version though

So there is a higher Po coming......then these will drop more ......stack of 6 diodes = larger hole in wallet but what power! Only drawback is that there is a $45 fee for shipping a package under 1ld to the US I have been alerted. Maybe do a GB with these things?

There was only pennies difference in the price between the 150 and 250mW in the quote I received.

Tempting, even though the beam isn't nearly as good.

could be better if two were stacked together, as the beam is rectangle... that would give something close to a square

but to couple 4 with a PBS it would need 2 horizontally stacked and 2 vertically stacked, which could be tricky to design

We'll still honor the $99.50/ea price, but there's a min. order of 50pcs. Not sure if you can group together any of your friends to reach these numbers. Lasers are shipped from the UK.
Let me know if you are still interested.

Allright, if who's interested?! I have to know if this is doable with the interest here. If about 20 can be spoken for on PL we probably can do it.
