    So no "complicated" showtime programming
No, the show is programmed using an ILDA software controller in combination with the laser matrix for doing tricks on individual projector (like positions, intensities or colors).

It's a nice system, the LaserMatrix, but the programming in this show is just crap. Nobody's likes stupid cones/circles that fade and blink and move, when people want to see laser they want to see beams. Lines. Waves. Heavy venue-filling effects. Combined with the LaserMatrix for making chases between projectors and applying nice shifted movements it could be a massive cool show. This is just dull ...

Well in the new beyond based quickshow got a feature called Glens Room, this option will allow you to everything the lasermatrix can do. without the need of extra hardware.

For example you can make intensity or size wave trough you projection zones (lasers)

We only need to hope Bill will add this in the final release, he was not sure if he will add it in quickshow.

Thanks Johnathan. Guess there's a little frustrated teacher inside of me, yearning to get out. But teaching doesn't pay enough, sadly.

Anyway, I'm always happy to be able to shed a little light on the subject. Glad to see it was appreciated.

You call 1 FB3 or QM2000 per laser no extra hardware?!?! LaserMatrix + one DAC for up to 16 or so lasers is way cheaper ofcourse..

Out of curiosity, Jeroen, is there a lasermatrix personality for visual-dmx yet?
There's probably nothing that forces you to use the lasermatrix with fiesta.
