Descriptions / Features / Specifications
DB25 manual switch boxes are perfect for sharing parallel or serial peripherals. These switch boxes feature a heavy-duty, easy-to-turn rotary switch enclosed in a metal case with rubber feet to protect your desk or table top. The rugged metal case is designed to withstand the rigors of everyday use and helps prevent unwanted EMI/RFI interference. Each connector is wired straight-thru in a pin-to-pin configuration to ensure compatibility.

For your average RGB projector, you certainly wont need to switch all 25 pins.

Well...thats looks ok.
Anyway, I will get hold in one and try..
Thanks for the idea![]()
Well, with LD-2000, you need at least 10 pins not counting shutter and interlocks to do RGB. You can just ground the lower half of the DB-25 (pins 14-25 all in one) but that's not what Pangolin suggests. Just a thought.![]()
I've never seen a parallel switch that would switch all 25 pins but maybe their is such a device.
I used to own one a long time ago. It was a parallel switch box, and it had a *huge* rotary switch inside. I think I paid like $40 for it, but that was nearly 20 years ago... Not sure if they still make them anymore or not, but this one looks like the same thing. (Need to check if it switches all 25 lines or not...)

Cruch,
I've just been in the garage and rooted through an old box of stuff and pulled out an old 4 port switch box. Yours for free, providing you cover postage (and a beer pour moi!)
I can open it up if you want to see what pins it switches. But I may damage the "Warranty Void" sticker![]()

OK, curiosity got the better of me a whole five minutes later.![]()
It turns out Pins 1-18 are one-to-one switched through. Pins 19-25 are all shorted across on each socket.
Warranty now void![]()
