Default 25pin switch for db25 connector

I want to set up an projector with the FB3 and db25 ilda connector.

I got the LD2000 and FB3 that I also want to use on the same projector, so I was thinking that I can just use a switch to change between ilda connector and FB3 And
    I want to on/off switch.
On, I can use the FB3.
    Off = I can use LD2000

Is this possible? And where to find a switch like this?

    Thanks for all inputs

    Hi Cruch,
I've switched 24 pins at a time using 2 banks of 6 of these: http://www.fairchildsemi.com/ds/MM/MM74HC4066.pdf
Tie all the "CTL" inputs together for each bank and switch 5 volts to them with 2 pull-up resistors and a SPDT switch. Turns one bank on and the other off. Works good!

for these, you want to use maxim's or analog device's equivalents, as they are waaaay better in term of noise and reliability

they are pin-to-pin compatible and they are available as free samples so this is a good deal

    WOW!

6 of these (MAX4754) *total* would do the job!

Four SPDT switches in each package! AND free samples!

I'm currently working on a similar PCB using ADG1409. The advantage of the 2x4 channel switches is that it can also be used to mirror X & Y and can be used with negative voltage levels.

just modify this and you have the connectors, the switch and the housing.

My thoughts exactly... I was wanting to do this and add in a DMX board so while you are busy building the queue you can have some canned crap still running!

u could probably still get em, they are getting rare new. your local computer shop should be able to get one, just make sure they dont order the automatic switch. someone might have one laying around.

This 2 port data switch permits 2 PC's to share one printer. The manual switch is perfect for small workspaces and situations that require multiple computers to share a single printer.
