    Anybody here a expert on 8 track large format reel to reel recorders....

    Dont ask me why, I can not tell you. But I need to recover tapes.

    Looking for test tape to borrow, what commonly craps out when in storage for 8 years. Any suggestions on how to bake tapes, and common newbie/beginners gotchas.
