Hello dixiscan and mccarrot thanks for the replies! It,s always great to hear suggestions! I want to have it as save as possible. That why i bougth the raytrack35. Also i added the dmx board so let,s say the dmx board breaks down then the lasers go out also the scanners stop. When only the 24v powersupply from the scanners breakdown the lasers will switch of also because it,s also the powersupply for the dmx board ( of course with a couple of 7815 and 7915 between it. If the scanners stop the scannerboard switch of the lasers. On the dmx board there is also 2 pins that connects to the keyswitch so without the key there,s no light. And last but least if there,s no signal from pin 13 the shutter kick,s in.
I think i only will ad a shutter in it for now. I,m already looking forward to next one.

I have this setup working with 70 meters CAT5 cable:

I have calculated it, and the Solid State relais anly draws 20mA so the voltage drop is not so much:

That,s not much but i will leave it for this projector. I will concider it for the next or buy a showtec case. It has everything you need. I dont like the scanners and lasers but i like al the safetyfeatures I only want the case. If someone knows who,s the reel manufacturer ask them to do a groupbuy. Safety for everyone Showtec is the seller but not the manufacturer i think This the link for specifications:

why did you choose 532 laserwave instead of cni or other manufacturer?
why did you choose kvant for the red instead of anyother?

Hi Adrian, welcome to the PL! It it nice to see you enthusiastic about lasers. Fortunately for you, many of the questions you have have been asked before, and if you read through some of the old posts here, you can find may answers to your questions. If you look at the blue bar under the photon lexicon title, you'll see a search option, if you type some of the questions you're looking for into that, you'll find pages of discussion on your topics.

again, welcome, I hope you like it here.

    oh, and girls are weird.

    also, the picture should help.

The quality of laserwave is very good and at that time laserwave didn,t have red modules at 640nm. I think they still haven,t more dan 400mw.
If you look at chroma i need 900mw of red but hounestly i couldn,t afford it. Also the quality of kvant is very good.

    Default 640nm

You will be pleasantly surprised with that red...

    I have:
    660mw @ 640
    860mw @ 532
    480mw @ 445
    300mw @473

I was going to add 1.4watts of 660nm, but we tested the balance of all lasers at full modulated power at UKLEM and they balanced perfectly... Those 640nm reds are *very* bright. They also produce some very deep reds and are not orangey as you might expect... Plus of course, the beam profile is perfect...
