    Yeah i thought along the same lines as you there Steve, and yes, Stefano is well known for being a good tutor and project supervisor, according to my friend in the year above.

    my higher-ranked choices are the ones related to high strength aerospace alloys, their coatings, and single crystal alloys for turbine engines. Im quite interested in that and am hoping to work for BAE systems at some point along my career

    I think steels are boring as HELL; for me its nickel-based superalloys and ceramic composites all the way!! haha
