The laser I speak of (which was actually a hand-held... made by viasho) had an actual diode output of about 1.2W and was rated at 300mW of 532nm.
Seemed to be very efficient crystal set... but I checked and double checked my readings!
Many 200mW lasers use a 1.2W diode, but they are usually ran well below that, usually under a watt of output to achieve 200mW (maybe around 800mW or so)

Sounds like those must be some efficient crystals.. sweet!
