    Thumbs up Submit your logo design ideas for the SELEM 2010 shirt!

    Hey folks! The 4th annual South Eastern Laser Enthusiast's Meeting is a little over 4 months away, so I figured it's about time to start nailing down some details, and one of those details is what the shirts are going to look like for this year.

    As in previous years, we've solicited ideas from the group and then voted to choose the one that everyone likes best. That seems to work well, so I don't see any reason to change it.

    So if you've got a SELEM logo design that you'd like to share, please post it below. Remember that as a general rule, simpler designs are preferred, because adding lots of extra colors adds cost.

    Adam

    PS: If you have no idea what I'm talking about, here are links to the old shirt logo design threads for 2009 and 2008.

    Hmm... I'm quite low on the totem pole when it comes to artistic talent but how about....

    1. A box/projecor spraying out the letters "SELEM 2010"
    2. An image that looks like a set of galvos and "SELEM 2010"

    Just a thought...

    So far I really like (evil)Adam's two ideas. Anyone want to take a crack at drawing them? (I can't draw to save my life!)

    Line art I did for DZ last year (if it's ok to use this David?)

    I could easily clean this up (to simplify lines for embroidery) and add SELEM 2010 and/or make the words look like a projected image if desired.

    Thoughts?

    Hi Greg;

    That's a great drawing, but I'm afraid it's a bit too complex for the embroidery machine. Maybe if we just showed the mirrors and the shafts?

    I dunno, what do you think David? How much detail can we handle?
