So far, i've found the note under the chair, got some batteries or something, opened the briefcase, got the gold bar, set that on the wood. Got the Note out of the tube. Opened the panel by holding down for 10 seconds.. and that's about it.

That wasn't too hard at all... it was slightly predictable in some areas...

I have the two batteries, the bottled message, the folded message and the gold bar

I found the wood plate to put the gold bar on, but no effect or I don't have the item to put in the hole yet

I cannot find these codes either, and cannot open the briefcase

is the briefcase locked with an item? is it a simple click-and-unlock system? if so perhaps I'm only clicking at the wrong place

Hints:
Click around the edges of things. You will find a LOT.

Briefcase is locked with a key, but if you click around enough you will find other helpful items in that area. You will need to find this key (to the briefcase) somewhere in the room
