    Default What a crazy day....

So I'm at work today, and it's going just like any regular day.

Around 1:15 I went outside to take a quick break, grab a smoke, etc. I looked accross the parking lot, and a freakin' helicopter had landed right on our grass.

For some reason my phone always makes it look like things are really far away... but I was not very far from the helicopter. It was BIG. This picture makes it look like it's a quarter mile away...

It was obviously a life flight helicopter...

    OMG where did it go?

Oh wait, there it is. Again, this was pretty close at this point. I could feel a bit of the rotor wash.

    So that was pretty exciting.

The end of the day came and went, and I drove home. Well, I live really really close to my work, and I come home to find police cars everywhere, media vans and cameramen everywhere. It was pretty nuts.

I guess some lady on my road got shot by her crazy husband. I had to give a big statement to the detectives because I heard a bunch of shit happen last night when I was trying to go to bed.

A view down my street.... notice the giant news van satellites up in the air. Also, there are usually no cars on the side of the road (they were all from the media)

Pretty crazy stuff. She got airlifted in critical condition but it looks like she is going to live. She got shot four times I believe.

Here is a link to the news story. The story says "128th street" but it's actually on 129th, and those of you who have shipped stuff to me know that I live on 129th haha....

Your safe, I'm sure you have enough lasers to combat a gun

Still pretty scary though, I would be terrified if I heard that kind of thing at night ....
