From what I can understand from the help file; you can only assign colour channels to frames without colour cycles, not the overall output?

The Health and Safety Act 1971
Recklessly interfering with Darwin’s natural selection process, thereby extending the life cycle of dim-witted ignorami; thus perpetuating and magnifying the danger to us all, by enabling them to breed and walk amongst us, our children and loved ones.
You do it with a color cycle. You make a static color cycle, assign each of the RGB controls to a channel, assign the channels to midi faders, and assign the color cycle to a midi button, et voila...
Whenever you want to adjust color, hit the midi button and move your faders...
BTW: There's a DVD here with your name on it

Sorry but I haven't had a chance to reply to this. Aside from Hayden who occasionally pops in, I am the only one on our staff who monitors and responds to PL.
When you send comments directly to Pangolin by email, it is much easier, because I can simply forward the email to others on my staff. Pangolin has a staff of 14 people, so generally I can forward the email to someone who is less busy than myself.
When it is on a forum post it is more difficult. I have to say "hey, go take a look at this post", and then the developer will reply to me, and then me back to the developer, and the developer back to me, and then we try to find the poster, etc. It might seem silly but it's much more straightforward with direct email. That way the developer can just reply directly with CC to me.
In briefly reading what you wrote, I will say that there are easy solutions. Just not much time for me personally to reply right now because I'm caught up with a lot of projects.
You could either wait a while longer, and I will gen-up a reply, or send direct email.

Hi Miss A.
For these LivePRO things, I'd like to deal with them through direct email. I think that will be better.
Please write me a direct email with these things so we can categorize them and then send them off to the proper developer. Unlike the AutoPlay topic where there were some direct things people could do themselves to solve the problem, some of this will take direct but simple effort on our part.
And regarding your suggestion to change the color of certain buttons when they go down, that's a good idea, but let me ask you, are you an artist?
Up until now, we've treated the button icons as a secondary concern, so up until now, our button icons have been more simple looking. For QuickShow, we have hired a professional artist to change the look of the buttons.
If you have artistic capability yourself, then we'd love to involve you in the project. If you know of an artist who's interested in participating, let me know...
Best regards,
William Benner
Hi William,
Thanks for your answer, I will pass my list to you, but starting a topic like this -has- advantages too: You can read all suggestions in just one thread.![]()
As example, If I didn't started it, Insanity, Doc, Jem or other users doesn't came up with theire ideas.
I also started a simular topic for Mamba on July last year (http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/...ead.php?t=3927), which results in 94 replies with other ideas and is read by 2,288 people till now.
In other words, ideas will create ideas and ideas and discussion.
Wow, sounds like a forum!
I'm not a real artist, but because I'm female, I have an eye for shopping (), figures, light, colors, appearance, so all kind of things how software should look like.

Attached an example of some minor color changes of the GUI. You see the difference (=settings) in a blink of an eye.

Well I guess one question is -- where is the best place for that "forum", here or on the Pangolin forum which has a dedicated LivePRO section?
OK, I can see what you are saying. My response is -- if you're not an artist, lets "rally the troops" here on PL and find an artist. Who knows, if someone steps up to the plate and we like his work, we'll hire them to do more of it!!

Hihi,
The Pangolin site says that LivePro 5.0 is comming out soon.
Here some new suggestions for this next version:
A MIDI button for switching on/off the "Beat/audio modulation" function in the Live control tab.
Should be very nice to use; specially when the break part in a dance music file begins/ends.
Export and import function of the MIDI settings to a seperate file.
Easy for sharing it with others with the same MIDI controller. And it could be handy if you want to setup more than one controller setups for different laser setups.
As said before: colored buttons in LivePro when pressed/enabled.
Now it looks like MS-DOS.
Beat counter if input signal is connected via Winamp.
Hotkey in the Enviroment menu to startup Winamp and the needed LivePro vis with a single button in this menu.
Same extra functions of the preview window, like the View menu in the preview window of Autoplay.
(E.g. Enhanced Reality Preview, Options > View Track(s), Window Size)
