    Thanks for the comments

I measured the output with the beam passing through a 45 degree bounce red dichro so as to get rid of any stray IR. I got 247mW then.
I get 245mW the other side of the scanset. It really is a nice module, am very happy with it.

The Box is made by Fibox www.fibox.com and is an ATEX explosion proof junction box. Model number FEX PC-7

We had some water jet cut round pieces of 10mm Ally that where scrap off of the water jet cutter so I nabbed one of those before they went into the scrap bin and cut off 4 edges to fit the box.

There is a fan already on the back of the LD module but I may have to add another as the module does run fairly warm. I may even heat sink compound it to the base plate.

I also intend on getting rid of the flying mains lead and having an IEC socket in the side to make it a little more presentable

The box is lovely. The lid nuts are big enough to tighten down with your fingers which makes it nice and easy to work with

I have now fitted and on/off switch and a flying IEC lead socket from the original cable gland as I didn't have a small enough IEC socket to fit into the plastic box side (too long at the back being the filtered type from PC PSU's) I also have got the 67>58mm stepper ring and AR filter now so will be fitting that tonight - Pic's to follow - and of it working

(I wish you could select 'single colour projector' with a tick in a box in Mamba like you can in Moncha & NLS )

    Very nice Jim,

It's not every day you see an electrical junction box that can do that...

Having said that, it's not every day you see a laser that produces bent beams, especially when the don't eminate from the scanners..

    Nice job...
