    Default Unmounting laser diodes... how?

    i guys!
    i have 2 broked red diodes taken from a laserworld rs400rgy projector,
    i wanna use the housings and the optics for a dvd-burner diode... how can i unmount this housings? there are no screws!

    hi Lorenzo

    there schould be a screw somewhere under the stickers.
    just remove that and u should be able to screw off the back part

    the diode is just hold in place by the back part thats screwed in
    Do not look into laser with remaining eye
    Need laser repair contact me !!!!!!

    unfortunatly there are no screws under the stikers

    has anyone some ideas?

    then just screw out the lens assy and u should be able to do it that way
    u need to realligne everything anyway with the new diode in there
    Do not look into laser with remaining eye
    Need laser repair contact me !!!!!!

    throw it in the trash and use an aixiz moduel

    i would think twice about that these have mutch beter heatsinking.

    where does the aixiz has none realy
    Do not look into laser with remaining eye

    the only thing to do was... cutting!!!

    now i will try to change the laser diode

    i dont wanna spend money for this laser... is only 40mw i think... i wanna build it up only for pleasure

    Why cut the housing?
    They will either be loaded via the front, unscrew the lens, then a retaining ring then pull out forwards. Or from the back with a similar type of fitting to the lens.
