Heres my contribution....
linked to my webspace. edit - no longer linked to my webspace as just gone over bandwidth with my isp - the PL effect
First off Bugatti EB110 at Le Mans in 1994 - awesome car - lucky perfect panned shot
Nigel Mansell being mobbed after winning 1992 British GP - incidentally though I knew Kevski at the time we didn't know we both saw this from practically the same spot and only many years later did we realise Kev is in this picture! He's in the top left corner with the white t-shirt with Williams F1 car on it.
Natures finest weaving - the wing of a dragonfly that posed for me long enough to take a heap of pix - this was my fave cos of the intricate wing structure.
The Mersey estury from Crosby Coast guard station at night illumnated by sodium vapour glow and light from a full moon. The long (30 sec) exposure has made the raging sea into a soft fluffy haze.
Nine moons - taken with multiple exposures on a tripod mounted camera each shot a mere 2min 20 seconds appart. The moon not quite full overlaps at each stage but looks cool.
Very lucky shot exposed for 30 seconds looking into a full moon while an EasyJet turns almost perfectly between the trees as it lines up to approach Liverpool JL airport.
Silverstone 2006 Grand Prix weekend and a night view over Windmill Campsite - again 30 seconds on the exposure with the flags illuminated by a quick manual blast from my flash gun.
The most incredible sunrise I have ever seen taken from above France as we flew for our Skiing holiday in Andorra in 2007. The colours which look great here were just stunning in reality - beautiful.
Handheld long exposure of the Sphinx and pyramids in May last year. Well worth a visit if you can put up with the locals.
Along came a spider. The highlight of Liverpools 2008 nonsense was La Machines gaint mechanical spider - seen here with the iconic Liver building in the background
Hope you like
Rob

If you need to ask the question 'whats so good about a laser' - you won't understand the answer.

Hey Rob, those are all excellent.
Here's a few- last summer was nasty for storms in my part of the Midwest.
1st & 2nd pics are from my backyard. That storm spawned a tornado that killed 4 people.

The 3rd is my neighbor's house across the street- after a storm with severe wind gusts at approx 90mph.

Sorry for double post.
but my pops actually sent me a slide show of "Amazing pictures." this picture REALLY caught my eye. Can anyone tell if this is real or not? Does something like this really occur in nature? it looks like something out of a sci-fi movie.
