Anybody hazard to guess what any of these components might fetch on eBay?
Last picture shows an ISOMET AOM, does it have a driver? Looks like it goes into a distribution board.
You shouldn't have a problem getting $150-200 for the ISOMET AOM 1205 (w/driver), that's what i sold the last one for on there.

The AOM is meant for holographic imaging (according to it's spec-sheet), so this is a safe bet.

    Here's a Wiki on that:

I'm on the fence. (in other words, "Huh?")

I had no idea what it was either... but it looked neat
I went to eBay, put in "Melles Griot" and saw it. The next day, I stumbled and accidentally hit "Commit to Buy".

It's from 2001. Judging by the way it was put together, it's from some sort of industrial application and probably cost a LOT when it was new. I can guarantee it's not for entertainment, at least. (Well, it is *now*...)

After shooting a red laser into it, I didn't notice much diffraction. The effects it creates must be more subtle and only noticeable when the whole device is functioning.

There's no driver. The AOM goes straight to the back panel where it probably interfaced with a controller that had the driver in it. I'll have to find a driver somewhere eventually. It only takes a 1mm beam, but that has it's uses.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for that thing?

Been real lucky lately, been able to get quite a bit for some.
I've also been fortunate enough to send a few to members here too.

Something like $60 with postage. (It's pretty heavy.)

Nice deal, have you started unbolting it, see what else you can find inside?

As far as depicted in the photos, yes. I'll dig in deeper a little later.
