    Agreed, David!

Very glad to learn that you'll be making it to SELEM, Randy! It's going to be one heck of a party!

    Hi Bill;

Yeah, we'll set aside some extra space for "mission control"! I should be there around noon, so we can start setting up tables then. (Reggie will be tied up in the morning with meetings anyway.)
I'll also have a cooler for the refreshments on stage.
Good idea! I suggest we place it at the back of the stage to the left (near the exit door that leads to the loading dock).

I'll confirm that my gear will be on tripods, so I can place where needed
(I just need everything to be in the same general location due to controllers & cabling)

I'll have the RGB, some form of "Jolly Green", and something that looks a lot like a device with the name "Bliss", but isn't...

Very glad to hear you're going to be there, Randy! It wouldn't be as good without you.

Also, any chance we can have a little better organization of wire on the floor? I know it's a tall order to ask but we'll probobly have double the projectors this year and I'd hate to see someone snag a wire and have a projector pulled to the ground. Maybe we can route them in a whay so their mostly under the table. Another concern is buffo's distribution python. That thing almost went to bare wire from the door smacking into it every 30 seconds. Should probobly find a different route or thicker insulation at that point.

Need to bring a heli with you Randy...

Back on topic... "Stanwax is a genius!" brings us back well; this is what I am talkin bout... We need to all pick a few of our favorite shows and start saving them with tracks set to different scanners. I need to go through at least two of my shows which may take a bit; I have at least two that are saved to 7 scanners. We need a few volunteers to pick some shows and save the tracks to scanners...

    Anyone?

A breakdown on who is bringing what projector and controller would be cool also so we have a plan in place... for Adam when he gets there before the rest of us. It will also be helpful for those saving shows to know how many tracks to save. I am hoping Steve has crafted a few "splitter" boxes for us to use a variety of controllers on as many projectors as possible.

Thanks Aaron! It would be helpful information. It looks like we'll have nearly 20 projectors in total, so some pre-planning will need to be done.

I asked Steve about this earlier. I don't know the status though. It would be great if we could get at least a single one-to-ten buffered ILDA output box or something similar, because then people who are running other controllers (like Moncha, Easylase, or even a sound card) could still run their shows on multiple projectors. Because we all know that a good show becomes a *great* show just by running it on more than one projector!

    No heli - sorry

My "networkable" gear is my QM2000.net, which will be controlling my RGB.
Any other devices I bring will be USB-over-ethernet and/or DMX, so I'll probably be running them "live" only.

What networking address scheme did you guys use at FLEM?
I pretty sure my .NET box is 192.168.1.xxx.

That's the default lan segment, and it's what we used at FLEM. Works just fine!
