    Hi navyadmire and welcome.

The pointer is high powered and quite dangerous, although I doubt it is quite as powerful as advertised.

You will have trouble importing it depending on your location (US and Australia are out).

Please add your location to your profile.

i buy it for burning use, so it need to be with high power. i am wondering whether it is reliable or not.

Considering the combination of lasers in a handheld package, these sorts of things are not typically good for constant wave operation. Short bursts, with low duty cycle to allow time for cooling.

The quality of this particular product is not know to me, perhaps you could ask the guys over at http://laserpointerforums.com/

Laser pointers are not our specialty here.

    Hi navyadmire.
As mentioned by 'dnar', pointers play no real part of PL. Best take a look on LPF if your interest in lasers extends to "i buy it for burning use" as generally on PL this kind of thing is discouraged. If however, you decide to go down say the projector route you won't find a more helpful community

    Many thanks

Don't burn your retinas! You are only born with one set of eyes !! Be safe with lasers , they aren't toys (even though they sometimes look like them.)

Also is MUST pop a blue and red balloon at 50ft :P

I really cant justify the cost of these pre built pointers, for what they do - point, pop and burn. Much better buying a 1 watt green module - you can burn way more with that, and once you get sick of that, you can put it into a projector. (and as Steve says, it wont roll off the table).
