    Heya White-light

I really don't want to appear to aggresive about this. As i'm still totally undecided as to what qualitys i look for to determine what a seperates a good laser from a bad one. I think i'm getting way off topic here. So i'll start another topic about this. Please feel free to delete this post and the one of mine before it. And i'll start a new topic.

    Cheers

    Tinker, see this album,

    and this one...

I just like to see pictures of lasers and think the beam path of a projector to be some of the best shots you can take; I like to see the whole journey a photon takes on its way from the firing chamber to my eyes.

sorry allthat, no internal beam path shots, may be if I fire it up again I'll do that...it will probably sit on my shelf collecting dust until PaCoLEM 2010.

Half the beauty in a projector is the inside beam path. To me at least.

    Heya ALLTHATWHICHIS

    What are you looking for?

I mean without smoke, unless it's huge you ca'nt see anything, if fact my laser looks like it's switched off unless there smoke.

I understand you see 'beauty', but i don't see anything unless there's smoke.

I think your 'beam' shots are more about smoke and mirrors then actual laser 'quality'.

Help me out here brother. Clearly i'm missing something. It's all zeros and ones to me....

    Cheers

Take DZ's shot here a few posts up...

I just like to see the beams from the lasers to the aperature; see the argon going through the dichro to split the blue and green so they hit the lumina wheel at different spots.

See Doc's beams as they get mixed... Eye of the beholder I guess.
