    Default WTB: 5k galvo set

Seems like I can't find them on e-bay at this moment. They need to be 5K pps or something like that, otherwise I'm afraid they won't fit in my projector as the DMX-board is only programmed for 5K and I don't have any experience with retuning (I'm actually wondering if this is even possible on such cheap things). It may be Chinese crap, no problem, as long as they work.

Only one galvo is also no problem, as it is only the Y-galvo that is broken.

So, take your chance and get your old crap off your bench!

what about getting some 20k scanners with another dmx board? the scanpro sets are not to expensive and you will be able to do so much more

Ah, I already tought somebody would try to convince me to buy some quality scanners. I rather invest my money in decent lasers, so not in my little green one. I noticed that if I scan it faster than 5K pps, I have jellybeaning (tried it with a mirror on a fan and really - a lot of jellybeaning, interesting effect tough in a timetunnel but not what you want in your beam show).
This projector is really my quick fix in place of a decent RG(B)V and I don't want to spend too much money on it. It is just not worthy.

I contacted the supplier - see what it gives, but if anyone has a spare set they don't need...

i had a crappy 300mW green laser and put a scanpro20 kit into it and now its a nice unit. i sat here for over a year as a door stop but now its one of my main lasers.

i have 2 dmx boards here im not using.
    i have a set of 10k - 12k scanners with a dmx board, also a scanpro20 dmx board.

if anyone is interested i also have a scanpro30 scanner and 2 boards and also a neo 12k-15k scanner and 2 boards out of a disco series laser.

Lots of thanks to 2nd17th for his board.
We are trying to figure out how to connect all stuff and we figured out most, but there are two mysterious connectors left: one labeled "G REVS" and one "G A+ B-". If you know what those mean, can you please tell me?

All other connections are more or less connected.

Other problem: I don't know how much voltage the laser driver needs. The original board needs 9V and the laser driver is powered directly by the board, so can I assume the laser driver needs 9V also or am I just gambling? If anyone knows the right voltage, or if there is a standard for this, please tell me. The laser projector is... err was ... a Performer 40 mW laser from Koollight, cheap Chinese.

I have some open loop g124s , would one fit?

    Hey Steve,

thanks for your interest, but I got all the components I need. I only need some help with cabling. 2nd17th wasn't very carefully when he ripped his board out and now we are puzzling it together again. I figured most of it out, except "G A+ B-" (maybe it has something to do with ILDA?).
Me on the other hand wasn't very carefully when I ripped my board out and no I have no clue how much voltage the laser driver needs. It seems like I have to reattach the transfo and reconnect the wires after I ripped it all apart. If it was only 9V, it was no problem but now I have to work with loose cables with 230V...
