Thank you for postings pictures, I look forward to seeing the guts and beam shots. I don't think people intend to bash you personally, legality is a big thing right now and makes many people here VERY protective because one screwup can ruin it for the entire US laser show industry. There is a reason the FDA regulates laser and audience scanning (look up blue oyster cult and find out why). Please take advantage of the help you can get here and LISTEN to those more experienced they have been there and done that and are reading your post with the remaining eyeball!

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

LOL, yaaaa 4mw with no fog or anything... NO!, its prob around 38-42watts. because the beam flickers at lower power (simmer at 9amps), but thats typical, I dunno exactly how stable it is at higher power... because once you get to a point in current where its max, and the water is boiling and hissing, then if you get higher, the output drops and goes lower.

well it has been an hour, no pics of the "completed laserscope mod".

My remote viewing skillz are awesome!!!

chuckle...if your laser is boiling and hissing you are NO WHERE CLOSE to even 30 watts, less on operating anywhere near stable..what you have are problems. and because I'm a nice guy...I'll tell you that the problem can be fixed for $24.00 but because you know everything...you probably already knew that

You guys may think I am picking on him, but you are not privy to the daily yahoo visits where questions were asked and answered then usually getting insulted because he knew a better way...or at least he thought a better way.

Well even some of the people from lasernet said if you pump more then 32-36 amps into the lamp its going to boil the water, and you can hear it near the lamp, i didnt mean all the water in the res. boiling...

The telescoping part isnt completed yet, thats going to take a while to find good pipes to be able to support the deck in a solid fashion, by conversion i ment getting rid of the computer, to run stand alone without the bs interlocks, i just have 2 main shutters for safety left in it on the deck, waiting for the 6860's to come, and i need to do a cleanup of the wires etc extra junk... and on my controller i need to add an LCD to show the info about the temp / current etc
