Thanks for reinforcement Steve, I thought I had lost it again.

He contacts you all nice and nice, then says Hey, I have a question...then...bla, bla bla...I answer then he says "thats not how to do it" I would do it this way...Well then why the F did you contact Me???

then insults you because you want to charge for information. I'll bet that he blinds himself or someone else before too long...(he probably wont...but one can only hope)

Then to top it all off...he said to me..."you know laserscope use to make a laser for the entertainment industry" x 1 million

less then 5 nanoseconds pulse, 1064, about 10-20 mJ.

I should have rented the space under my name for advertising.

Do yourself a favor and have your laserscope on low current , turn on the Q switch, Have a video recorder on and crank the current all the way up. Then post that vid on PL. You should peak around 80 watts !!!

    Laser Warning

Simple Current Control Setup, Waiting For Green 7-Segment LED Display to Arrive for Showing Temp, Current, Interlock, (Maybe Output Power) Status. Left Room On the Board For Logic Using Atmel's AT89S52 for the Display Logic and Temp Readout / Status. The Other Smaller Board Is the KTP Heater. Thinking Of Ways To Integrate the On-Board Photodetector / Amp Circuit To Make a In-Line Power Meter As The Original Laserscope Computer Did. Currently Writing the AVR Logic For The Simple Stuff... After This Electronics Crap Is Out Of the Way, Next Is To Build a Telescoping Riser Made Of Pipes For Raising the Optical Deck, Making It Motorized Seems Like Too Much Work For What It Is, Originally I Was Thinking A Servo Driven System, But I May Just Go Manual Rise / Tighten 1/2" Bolts at 1ft Increments.

More Photos Of The Simple Electronics Below:

Thats a mean looking beam in that last shot. Heating the neighbours house, trimming the shrubs? Thought of putting a scanhead on that thing and use it for marking?
