    Default 532nm Handheld Needed

    Dear Doc,

I think you are misunderstanding my intention of obtaining a hand held powerful green beam. I attended Selem a few months back and amazed by the little hand helds some of the guys had. Very neat gadgets. I think you may be concerned of my safety, which I thanks you for. I own CO2 lasers from 60-200w. I have (2) Laserscopes currently. I think they will do around 40w of green(but too much for some of the tests I wish to perform). I have several Yags 60-250w. On top of it all, I have over 40pairs of safety glasses/goggles for about every laser frequency. I am not a novice, I build/design cnc laser cutting/scribing/welding gear for a living. I have a BS in mechanical engineering as well. I am very safe, as I still have 20/20 vision.
PS: If I want to light cigerettes, I can do it from 20ft. with a co2 laser. Just want a new toy, and who better to ask than the folks on this forum.

    TROLL ALERT TROLL ALERT!!!

If you had that stuff you would not ask those questions.

It is imperative that you watch the follow safety video before proceeding with your plan to obtain this very dangerous laser!

Oh man. You know you've spent time in the south when you laugh more at the accent than the babies.

Ben K.? If that's you, you may as well put a face to your PL name.

If not, who are you? I remember pretty much everyone from SELEM 08 and 09.

The other way is the bumper sticker that says "Redneck by birth, Southern by the grace of God"

    Hello Jon,
Yes it is Ben K. I will try to load a picture soon. Been getting a lot of resistance to the high powered green beam on here. WTF! Hollar!
