Well fair enough responces I guess, but I think i did tell you they were together in the enclosure (you were too busy saying i was wrong ), (source and scanners), but I could say it is OEM, because the "source" is greatly modified, the onboard computer that used to handle safety and interlocks etc are removed, so it would be better to call it an OEM source, and the laser source really cant be "removed" its not on its own plate, its ALL built on the optical deck of the laserscope, and also the certified laser source isnt considered certified with all the modifications it has undergone...

    Prevaricate :

Quote from my approval letter on line at the FDA site:

"The projectors may contain certified argon/krypton, helium neon, or frequency doubled Nd:YAG lasers"

I'd love to see a modern letter that does not contain the highlighted word above...

    Allen,

The only thing I can offer here is experience of my old age. You have the attention of several industry Experts who in any other field would charge hundreds of dollars just to reply to your questions. I think you could turn this around with a few words like "Please" and "Thank You".

FAIL you ignored the parameters of the circumstances in the question, which is exactly why no one is willing to help you anymore - you don't LISTEN or PAY ATTENTION, and you think you know everything. There are plenty of 'laser guys' out there, with Variances, and they're still HACKS... It is all about the having the right ATTITUDE,
and you just plain don't seem to get it, kid.

    Also, incorrect. Do the math.

This is relevant to the question, because...??? We only have 2 of them, so... Truly, what a dizzying intellect you possess....

Never have, never will, but - there you go again, nailing what everyone else wants to say to you, before they actually say it!! You know, I think you should quit the laser / dj-thing, and join the circus as a 'mind reader' - you're GOOD!

I'll give the Commander a bump in the am... see if I can get things moving along, since we now know you do illegal audience scanning, too... and out of your own mouth...well, fingers... LOL - actually, I will really enjoy seeing if you wil be 'LOLing' if Enforcement decides to turn your * into a windsock... you don't need to 'wait' till your 'conversion' is done to submit your Variance for doing shows-with, since you claim you have - or at least USE others' - other Class IV lasers... you can always amend, along with your annual report in Sept.... but you knew that already...

    Here's one for ya, Einstein:

What is wrong with these two premises, here - for you, in-particular - in terms of getting your Projector Variance approved? (which, as you so mindblowingly replied to mixedgas, is the 'reason for all the delay' in your getting Variance submitted to legally do shows...) How would these effect your application for a Show-Performance Variance? ...please, enlighten us, Professor...

Well, I've enjoyed my visit here, whist waiting for a huge render to finish; it's done now, so I've got to get back to work at my LEGITIMATE, LEGAL Sho Co... You have fun with your GI Joes and hooking up all your massive ions to 277 gensets with your eyes closed...
