Allen, its 00:46 hours Eastern. I just drove 6 hours in a snowstorm. Its usually a 4 hour drive. I've been up since 5:30 AM, yesterday. I worked a 9 hour shift. I just got in and the first thing I had to do at Mom's was see why she and the dog didn't meet me at the door 45 minutes ago. So I just ran a diagnostic on the furnace and the CO detector, then sorted through some bills. I'm deeply Christian, and I had a thought on my mind on the way over.There are two over college students on PL who are working on their varis much harder then you, who could use my help right now. There are two guys here that need schematics. I've got maybe 15 minutes tomorrow to look for them in the pile. So while I should begetting some zzz, because at 6:30 am the daily war starts, complete with lawyers, accountants and management types. I just looked, sadly, at my I90 I never get to use anymore... I will drive 4- 6 hours back in the evening. But I have one last point on my mind. I will stop digressing. This just took the last bit of my patience to type

One last freakin chance. Your are, you claim, a engineering student. Some day you may want a Professional Engineer's License, or a Security Clearance. Some day you may actually grow up and have the ethics and wish to be a P.E. or serve your country by working on lucrative defense or energy stuff. Your current course of action may endanger that, as computers are EVERYWHERE. Heck, I got background check calls about students I worked with, asking if they were trustworthy, just for private industry.. Therefore, I suggest you do the following, I propose...

You have less then 24 hours to call DJ _DSLI-JON and ask for help. At that time, you will agree to immediately do your remaining paperwork , with his help. And you will clamp a holographic security sticker over your Laserscopes output, and two red plastic commercial electricians lockoout tags WILL be placed over the leads of the arc lamp, and sealed with those nice little red pinched lead security locks. You can get all this stuff at McMaster Carr or Grainger, a couple of places every engineering senior should know about. If Jon asks, your KTP goes into a safety deposit box in a bank.

You will show Jon everything you have equipment wise, so he can help you. Your paperwork will be filed for your gas or your small solid state gear. After a few gigs done right, if the seals are still on, your vari, if granted, could be amended to allow laserscope use.. If not DSLI Jon, well there is one other guy, but he bills for his time... If need be, after preliminaries, a few ILDA folks might be asked to help you.

I have a feeling if you do that, and show some maturity, and some respect, you might find that miracles happen. If not, right around midterms, you may find it hard to study from the interruptions , and from trying to figure out how to write a remediation letter. I hope you don't see any Grads of the Glynco County School, but you might...

Well, the CDRH KNOWS that you have (at least claimed) to have-done Class IV shows - - how do you think they are going to react when your Variance app shows up in the mail - and they've already BEEN to your site, and, still CURRENTLY advertising '60 Watts of RGB, etc etc.' - ILLEGALLY (cause they have your bloody Variance APP in thier hands...) ??? You think they're gonna say, 'Meah, he must have an awful-lot of those LazerCrabbWidowz!, LOL, goofy-kid!...' and go on a coffee-break and forget the whole thing??? So, if you want your Variance to go anywhere, but in the NFW-pile, you are gonna have-to S-Can the Class IIIB and/or IV show-offerings, till your approved. This means NO 168s, and NO Laserscopeys, NO 171s, even if you don't really own one.. you still can't use it...

Yep. Like Marc and Spec so-kindly, yet-again, tried to point-out - this place is like Laser University - you've got an ENORMOUS wealth of real-world experience, real-world engineers, real-world professors, doctors, etc, etc, etc - Do you really wanna miss out on all that?? Has your 'badass9mm-totinMFer' attitude gotten you ANY closer to your Variance approval? Even if-so, once the Fed sees your site still up - before your App is even friggin IN??... in the immortal words of Bil Paxton in Aliens II: "Game over, man, Game over!..."

Haven't really learned much here, only that MOST laserists are a$$holes, especially the ones who claim to be professional yet to only have rude remarks on an "online forum" and think their the shit and think their the only ones who can do a show safely, look at some of the larger companies like Lasernet & few others, they are not even on the forums, who Don't have an attitude like this, why should I respect? Respect these people ha ya right... The only 2 persons here that get respect is Mixedgas & Buffo (Adam), none of their answers are bullshit, please read up the forum an you'll all see... One, I know for a fact that big guys post here, using "alter egos". They just may have a better concept of Comsec then you might think... I know a lot of them read it to find the latest technology and keep a eye on laser pricing, and to pick up the odd bit of useful kit. Their generation for the most part, avoids digital social networking, preferring phones.

Two, If I were you, I would not say sayonora to this place. Because you are about to need major help, and few lawyers know administrative law. However, when that time comes, I will only help you here, for the sake of transparency...
