You are using laserwave dichro's right? i have similar results.

25% loss of power is normal when using laserwave dichro's, when you measure the indepenedant losses you will measure a 10% loss on each dichro for pass trough.

I think this is because of the bad Chinese AR coating.

Swapping the dichro's for better quality (no chinese ) dichro's will give the best improvement.

Yeah, I'm losing 900mW from the reds through the whole system, but that includes the 400mW loss through the cube, 200 through the blue dichro and the rest through the scanners

Different font size spaces between the "cool" and the period... not sure exactly, but in my email notification it shows a good 2 inches of space between the "cool" and that period.

Correct, no need to change the font size though. Just hold down the space bar for a second, click the period and VB text editor takes it as a mistake and hides all but one space
