Default Insanity's Monster the build Ends !!!

So today is that magical day when I can say that with the exception of the extra red module I intend to add, the monster is complete...

First job was to complete the case assembly and make sure everything was sqeaky clean, then came the miserable task of getting everything tuned up and getting the scanners dialed in... Next job tonight, is to sit back with a big box of tissues and enjoy the show... I'm looking forward to that little job Then, turn my flat back into a home, rather than a workshop, not looking forward to that job so much

By the way, does anyone here have a crane I can borrow? This thing is bloody heavy...

So, here she is sitting happily in her shiny casing...

Here are the beam paths all encased in perspex, which protects everything from the drool as I peer inside

Finally after tuning the ScanPro's, which by the way are a dream to tune up, here are some of the good old familiar test patterns...

The circle is slightly off to the right in this one, which happened after I moved one of the scanners to get the image central in the output window... But that's easily fixed...

Do you have any place left for that extra red module

It's going to sit behind the 445 and then I will steer it with a couple of mirrors into a PBS in front of the 640...

DONT FORGET, 10% loss per mirror
i dont like the fact that on my projector,, the red and blue modules go through an extra 2 mirrors, for the sake of projector size.
i would rather have a slightly larger projector, and keep my power levels as high as possible.

    just my .02 sense

I got some good mirrors, so won't loose quite that much... But we are talking 1.2watts minimum, so there is plenty of room for losses already accounted for....

Oh yea??,,,,, care to share what are the best mm1 mirror source?
    Regardless of price?
My projector currently uses dichro , even for beam bouncing , I wonder if a mirror might have less loss???
