    Default Hello Everyone.....Nice Forum

Hey gang, I'm new to the forum but dabble in lasers and other stuff as a hobby.

    A little about me...
I own a panel building business for the audio and mobile DJ industry. I also beta test OEM equipment and software and write articles for a couple of industry magazines.

I made my first laser projector 20 years ago using items from MWK Industries and local surplus stores. It was exciting then. Today I am using Pangolins FB3 controller in a custom enclosure and a laser from X-Laser. I would like to build my own again, but RGB this time instead of single color.

You might see a post soon about some industrial lasers my brother has for sale (or I might just keep them if I can get some help here to use them).....

Anyone in the Cleveland Ohio area? Would like to talk shop.

    Hi Carl, welcome.

Yes there are relatively many users in Cleveland, OH myself being one of them. We get together once in a while and do shows/talk shop, build things and you'd be welcome any time. Have you settled on an output power for your RGB?

Many experienced laserists also use other solutions, but I doubt they'd relate them to genetalia you are fond of

Default Terrawatt sez "Dogs Danglies...Why do humans hangum from truck bumpers?"

    Hi Carl,
Welcome to the best coherent, beam swinging forum on Earth. CDBEAM here. My dog's name is Terrawatt...and she HATES cats !!! OHLEM sounds great.....Hopefully, we have reached Critical Mass to form a get-together...why should the Southern Gentlemen have ALL the fun !! I live in Monroe, Michigan ( Birthplace of that famous military genius...General George A. Custer....hey...he got screwed by the upper brass of the 7th Calavary.....they hungem out to dry...cause he was such an arrogant bastard ...
Anyway...check out my gallary pics....just one way to build a RGB projector. I have been guided by MANY very helpfull members and am greatful for their teaching !! In return....they put up with my dog's warped sense of humor. Ask questions and many will answer.
    Regards,
    Bob(CDBEAM)
