Do you mean that you bounce the combined beam onto the galvo mirrors?
I was planning a straight green, reflect red and blue. I thought this would be the easiest to align.

A picture is worth a thousand words... now to find the picture...

This picture shows what I did with my projector... Notice even the green is bounced, that way I have control over every beam...

And if you come in from the left, as shown above, your first bounce on the galvos is on the X galvo and bounces down to the Y; this keeps your scanner loss beam going down so it doesn't shoot "up" out of your projector. The waste beam goes down into your scanner block.

I see, said the blind man......thats one bright bean you got there

Well that gives me something to think about....
I milled a bunch of mounts for mirrors for a different project, I still have a few left so bouncing the beams wouldn't be that big a deal....
    Which brings up another question....
Is the placement of the dichro's in respect to the source that critical?
What i mean is in reference to distance, I have seen some close and some further away. I would think that it might just be preference and available real estate.
If I remember DDL, your projector was 12" wide, so if your dichros and mirror's were closer to the source would it be possible to have a more narrow platform? I'm liking the ideal of a "Tube" projector

Thanks everyone for your help on this.

Nope, but the dichro angle and order of colors is.

Not every dichro likes exactly 45'
