And if you come in from the left, as shown above, your first bounce on the galvos is on the X galvo and bounces down to the Y; this keeps your scanner loss beam going down so it doesn't shoot "up" out of your projector. The waste beam goes down into your scanner block.![]()

I milled a bunch of mounts for mirrors for a different project, I still have a few left so bouncing the beams wouldn't be that big a deal....
Which brings up another question....
Is the placement of the dichro's in respect to the source that critical?
What i mean is in reference to distance, I have seen some close and some further away. I would think that it might just be preference and available real estate.
If I remember DDL, your projector was 12" wide, so if your dichros and mirror's were closer to the source would it be possible to have a more narrow platform? I'm liking the ideal of a "Tube" projector
