Does it make sense to make some kind of agenda for the day?

Just wondering what does everyones projector weigh? My current build is getting close to 20 kg and I don't even have such amazing hardware in it

    Edit:

And what does a lase-off mean? Wouldn't it be cool to select a song, and then see who can make the cooles show to the song. Then we play the song at the LEM and everyone runs their show (at the same time since we all have the same song) and the winner gets the bavaria ? (or is this the whole point of a lase-off )
Life is short.... Ride it hard!!

The scaffold is strong enough to stand on with 3 people, so it won't collapse under the weight of a few projectors!

A lase-off is exactly that ... Mostly for the sheer fun of it and to show off your show designing skills. My bet is that the Bavaria which goes out as a price will be distributed along the visitors.

I'm working on the programme right now, as far as the cost goes, there is none for the venue, only for some sandwiches, coffee, soft drinks etc. which may come up. Nothing more than a few Euros.

    Lightbulb

In my opinion a lase off is watching some nice beam shows together to show off your nice white balance/divrigence, and get the change to see many projectors together, or show your new build show you worked on for the last couple of months.

What do you guys think of this agenda:

    12:00 - 14:30 general socializing and tinkering.

14:30 - 15:00 technical workshop how to connect and adjust Gentos scanfail

    15 :00 - 16:00 general socializing and tinkering.

16:00 - 17:00 Technical workshop " safe audiance scanning, the simplified approach"

17:00 - 18:00 general socializing and tinkering, and build up for the lase-off

    18:00- 19:00 Shoarma

19:00- 20:30 lase-off I will bring 2x 500mW balanced white (after aperture) for the lase off.

    20:30 - 21:00 cleaning up.

I can agree with that programme, remember that we need to have the stuff cleaned up near 21:00.

I suggest to keep 12:00 until 15:00 for build-up, general socializing and tinkering. If anyone got bigger rigs, be sure to come in early so you can unload your stuff and lay big cables/hoses in advance of everyone else.

As for the lase-off rules, I suggest that we have none except a time limit. (so people don't run a show lasting 2 hours...)

As long as we are not going to audience scan a 5W laser with a home brew audio DAC and stepper motors.

I have changed the agenda a little bit

I guess I'll have to leave my laserscope with voicecoil scanners at home then.
