See you there. Looking forward in perhaps buying a FB3 ;-)

I don't think it is wise for anybody to be on the road right now

I doubt we'll have another opportunity like this. At the TAC we have power and water connections, along with the room and people with expertise. I don't have the logistics to get this thing elsewhere, let alone some place we can run it!

Crap, woke up this morning and saw about 15 cm's of snow... So I won't be joining this meet. I was really looking forward to it, but it is just too dangereous for anyone to drive all the way up to Eindhoven. For all those that did make it to the meet, have loads of fun and a very safe trip home!

We spend more time in the car then on the actual LEM but in the end it was all worth it.

12 hours away, 8 hours in a car, 4 hours on the Lem. For roughly a drive of 150km, that makes 38 kmph. But he Lem was word it. Good location btw.

But next time, make sure to check that its not snowing that day

I just got home like ten minutes ago :-)
I did like 4 hours to travel 173 km (according to Google Maps). That's 45 km/h. I was going by train, which does normally around 70 km/h. In short: the NMBS or Belgian railroad company fucked me pretty badly.
The train from Essen to Antwerp was simply cancelled! There was one more one hour later but then there was no other train that leaves from Antwerp . My dad had to pick me up there.
I want to say a very big thanks to Francesco for picking me up and driving to Eindhoven and back. He also accompagnied me for a hour when I had to wait for the next train in Essen. He's a really nice chap. He also provided us with some Pangolin t-shirts.
And also a very big thanks to Stoney3K for organising the very nice venue. It was nearly perfect, even the food was free!

I will upload the pics and vids tomorrow. Must get some sleep first.

Good to hear everyone got home ok (with some delays).
Too bad so many people chickened out because of the weather, you missed out on a great LEM!

Ok, it took some time to get there but Stoney3K arranged a perfect location.
We arrived around 12.30u and luckily the doors were already open.
We were the first to arrive, Stoney had arranged for nice big tables, pretty soon more people arrived.
We had some nice food (which was free since a lot of people of the TAC cancelled yeah) and the atmosphere was very good.
Lot's of nice builts, we had some fun with shows.

Francesco hooked some of us up with a FB3. Edison bought the cardtype and i bought the box (SE?). So now i have officially been pango'ed as well. Also a nice Pangolin t-shirt and some lasorbs for my experiments next week.
Francesco also showed us the new QUICKSHOW software, which was easy to use and had shitloads of frames already in it. Point and click basically, just like Smith & Wesson (the first point'n click interface ever....)

Very interesting, i filmed some footage, hope my camera worked ok, sometimes it just turned of when i was recharging, but if it worked will place the footage on the FTP. Really look forward to the groupphoto taken in UKLEM styleeeeee....(everyone in front of a lot of beams...)
Too bad we took the picture after some of us already left ;-(
Also nice to measure ColouredMirrorball's lasers. Nice you could make it all the way from Belgium dude, really nice talking to you.

Also very nice to see Francesco, Dixiscan, Flowlaser McCarrot and Edison's laser in real life.
Stoney3K arranged for some scaffolding to place all the lasers.
We had to turn Edison's Projector down quite a bit, since it was a hefty RGY laser that packed quite a punch.

We also connected them all together in Uklem style, playing a show.
Really look forward building my new cases now, and want to try and make a nice show in pangolin.

When we left there was a lot of snow again, but except for getting out of the street of the location Edison and i had no troubles getting home, took us under 2 hours (eindhoven-amersfoort).

Hope we have more of these LEM's, it was fun !
