HaarLEM is a bit too far.

I prefer a date in or after this summer, then I'll have my drivers license.

@KL79: To clarify: I own the setup, it's not my design. It's a design by RGB lasersystems from Hungary.
A pretty nice design i might add. Last week i opened it up and said i would post pictures. Then a member of PL asked me NOT to do, because it was an invention by RGB lasersystems and posting info about it might made other people replicate the design. I thought that made sense, so i respected the request and didn't post pictures. What other people do with their own pictures after a LEM, is ofcourse their responsibility.

What you see is 8 c-mounts mounted on a big copper block (left), in front of each c-mount is a lens assy, then onto a mirror which bounces it 45 degrees (down) onto a bigger mirror then to another mirror (lefthand corner down) en then 4 diodes get combined into a beam, then one of the beams possibly goes through a waveplate to change polarisation and then 2 beams exit the box. A PBS cube is then used to merge them together. The pattern is as McCarrot describes in the Laserman mount topic, so 2 dots up and 2 dots down for a relative tight beam.

This unit was sold to me doing 440 + 150mW but it used to do 1.4W.
    Probably each c-mount is 200 to 250mW.

    Laser Warning

Screw it. I'm uploading some vids to the FTP.
    ftp.photonlexicon.com, plftp, ildaswap.
Look under the directory Video -> SnowLEM 20-12-09 Eindhoven
A vid will be available within like five hours or something.
