Im goin to order insanity's LivePro for dummies tutorial. Im getting the hang of all the buttons on LivePro, i just want to know , how to maximize the laser's output, vs. having the software "balance" the output for color. I feel as though the Pangolin, right now, is NOT really pushing the lasers output to its full power potential.
wheras, i read somewhere on here, that Fiesta (in all its basicness), looked brighter on the same projector vs. Pangolin.
Lets just say, im going to do an outdoor show, and i want full power vs. pretty colors,
i might just get another dac with basic functions, but higher output to the laser projector....(Fiesta)

whadda your thoughts? have you ever used 2 different DAC's on the same projector , to compare brightness ?

I don't currently have a license for LivePRO but I'm pretty sure you can go to full brightness as you can in LD2000. Maybe someone else can confirm this. It may be that Fiesta does something different to make their pallet brighter. I'd definately be interested in seeing a side-by-side comparison.

When you build an effect (let's say circle) in LD, use more points. That will make it brighter. "All" you need to do is to build workspace full of powerfull effects (you have to adapt scanning speeds of every effect as well).

And I would not say that Fiesta is "basic". It is easy to use, but powerfull. And it can produce same colours as any other software.

AND I am Showtacle's distributor so...

Automatic optimization is what causes Fiesta/Moncha etc output to look brighter. The software essentially adds more points automatically.
