    Default WTB Mirrors for ScanPro20

    Well... I had a small accident: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/1547250/DSC09962.JPG

The most annoying part is that I broke it while clearing some space so I could solder the laserboy correction amp together. So now instead of galvos and no DAC, I have a DAC and no galvos...

I broke one of the mirrors, and I don't know where to buy a new one or how much they cost. I've also read that the ones they come with are not good for 405nm, so I was thinking maybe I could get better ones instead of more of the same.

I've recently got sucked into this hobby, and this pisses me off. More so because I can't blame anyone for it but myself... I don't like that sickening "SNAP!" sound. That sound was of course followed by more then a few colorful words.

If you need scanpro mirrors contact dave, he can help you out, they have about 20% loss on bluray, but for normal rgb they are very good!

If you need mirrors for bluray I can help you out.

I did email him, I'm still waiting for a reply though. I'm still trying to find the bit of mirror the broke off, so I can try and glue it. But it seems to have vanished.

Using bluray is not a big concern, at least not right away. I only have a home made red DVD burner laser so far, I don't have a lot of money to spend, so I won't be using 473nm blue unless I find one really really cheap. I got these ScanPros for $128 used, so I've not spent much on this project yet.

I was clearing the desk where they were sitting, and knocked the fan over. It fell on them.
