    Default Newest pangolin shows 5.0

Anyone have the newest Pangolin shows that were released with the newest ver 5.0?
Right now the only way to get them are if you order a new Pangolin system and get the full set of install CD's or order a new set of CD's from pangolin for $75.00USD.

The shows are free with Pangolin, so I assume that sharing them with people that already own Pangolin software is OK....... is this correct?

Can we put them on the Photolexicon FTP site? or is this not allowed.

Just looking to get the shows without having to buy the newest CD's from pangolin.

Hey Kyle, from my limited understanding, most of the new shows are already on the FTP. Standing in Motion, Rhythm is a Dancer, and We are the Champions are the three "new" ones I am aware of. I think one or all of Adam's shows will be on the disk. All of these are on the FTPs along with 4 of the 5 shows I have made recently. I still need to upload the last one.

Someone let me know if there are more new shows on the DVD than Adam's and the three I mentioned. O, the Rupert shows might be on it also.
    Love, peace, and grease,

Hey allthat, any chance you could release some of your shows as .lsh 's or .ild's in sequence? I only have a FB3 right now, but I would like to see some of your work

    Cheers,
    Dan

I need someone to school me as to how to save them in a way that can be used by other systems. I saved one as a .ild and it is just a string of frames. Being as ignorant as I am to some of this; I am not sure if this is the correct way to save them out for other systems. Someone find me a tutor...

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i thought that a lot of frames may not be exported from LD, cause of the licence. If you buy an LD2000 card you also buy the rights to use the frames/scenes, i thought exporting them to another system was not allowed.. cause the other platforms do not have an licence on the IPL library's.

He is asking for the shows I have programmed, not the shows that come with the LD package.

Okay i read it wrong.. But if i understand the lic correctly, if your show contains someting from the IPL library, i thought you still may not export it to another system..

I did not use anything from the IPL library; probably never will.

Just as an FYI, here is a section of the text file in the ILP folder on usage rights:

    "USAGE RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS
These frames and shows may be used in whole or in part, by any legitimate, licensed user of Pangolin's Lasershow Designer software. However, frames or shows may not be transferred or sold to others, and you cannot claim or imply that you created the frames or shows.
    FOR EXAMPLE...
... you can perform shows for your clients and receive compensation.
... you may copy or modify the frames, show or show elements (scenes, modules, effects) for use in other shows or productions which you create.
... you can run shows in your demo room, or use them in a videotape, as long as you make it clear to viewers that you did not create the shows.
    HOWEVER...
... you may not transfer or sell any frames or shows to other parties, except (in the case of frames) if the frames are being used within a new show or production which you have created.
... you may not take credit for creation of the shows, or portions taken from the shows."

I am using Pangolin too, and I can understand if you cant export to other software, but surely it's OK to export to software made by the same people?!
