FLEM 8 on December 5th, 2009 in Tavares FL!

The problem is that is the first flight out of Dallas at 7:00 and that's the first flight to arrive there from Dallas : ( may have to leave Friday night or something like that but even that would probably be to late then
Friday I could be their 6:35, 7:15, 8:30, 10:40,11:25 all in the afternoon.
Saturday I could be their 11:45, 1:00, 1:55, and so on ……… any of these times good for anybody?
If not looks like a car is only 50$ for 2 days, Saturday and Sunday lol and if were up till 4 am lol and the first flight is like 7am I might as well just sleep in the car lol : )

Well, we probably won't be running until 4 am, but it's possible that we will run past midnight. It really all depends on how late we run Friday night. Last time the "pre-FLEM" party ran really late (2:30 in the morning), so by the time Saturday came around we were all pretty tired, so we called it a night at around midnight. (Still took me a while to pack up my stuff, and of course I spend a good hour cleaning up on Sunday.)

You said you could be there Friday in the "afternoon"... Did you mean PM? (you listed 6:35, 7:15, 8:30, 10:40,11:25) If those are PM times on Friday, then they are a tad late, but if you arrived at 6:35 and rented a car you could be in Tavares by 8 PM easy. That way you could have dinner with us Friday night, then head back to the venue for a few hours of laser fun... Crash in a hotel room Friday night, then get to the venue Saturday for an all-day event. Spend a second night in the hotel, and drive back to the airport early Sunday for the flight out. Would still be a 2-day car rental, plus the hotel fee.

Hey I got a question, How do you guys move laser projectors if you're flying? do you just put them in with your baggage and surround them with clothes? would they get confiscated by the TSA? Just wondering because the way it looks I should have my projector finish by the 13th of this month well hopefully I have to cancel my order with CNI and am getting a 1.5W Viasho laser …. CNI was just screwing me over on the time like they didn’t care for my business anyway doesn't matter what matters is how to move this thing, dim should be 8"x16"x14"

Sorry to hear that you won't be making it. But the Christmas program sounds like fun. I'll definitely stay in touch with you and Matt about upcoming FLEM's though. I'm sure we'll have at least one in the spring, if not more!

Fedex hold for pickup is your friend.

Other guys who can do it with very tiny gear fit it into a pelican case and check it, but I'd want a ton of documentation with me.

Hello Adam,
I am wish to attend. Not sure if I will fly or drive down. I am sure it will be a blast (like Selem was, really opened my eye to the visible laser world). How much do I need to send for registration (shirts too?)? I might of overlooked that somehow? Is it a super fun dinner party on Friday night? Can I bring a laser collegue along? very excited!
