I keep telling you guys to come to South Carolina to buy your fireworks. You can get little boxes of awesome like these babies:

Powerballs-brand mortar shells. Watch what they do to that bread pan! (And for you super-freaks, they have a new shell called "salute to america" that is easily double the load. They're actually pretty scary.)

Of course, transporting fireworks across state lines might get you in some hot water if you get pulled over and searched by a state trooper, but those are the chances you take!

I had some military shell burst simulators a few years ago.

They were surprisingly cheap to buy and unbelieveably effective.

Unfortunately the bill to replace the windows in mine and my neighbours garage was bigger.

California sucks for fireworks as well.. They are only legal to use in certain cities on the 4th of July, and only sell crappy fountains for way too much (like up to $40). Many people go to Mexico or Nevada/Arizona to get anything worthwhile.
