    Laser Warning My Laser Project

    USB ILDA DAC :
    - 60kpps scan speed
    - 12 bits resolution X/Y
    - RGB TTL modulation
    - double buffer RAM max 64k for each frame
    - USB direct supply
I am using Atmega128 with my firmware made in Assembler language and FT245RL with drivers from FTDI.
It is running using RollasPlayer.exe that plays ILD files. This is a simple player with 4 effects - rotating CW and CCW, X mirroring, y mirroring and pumping. The software has manual control for XY and RGB (ttl control), geometry correction (X/Y size and shift X - shift Y)

    Controller with SD CARD
    - 12 bits resolution X/Y
    - RGB TTL modulation
    - ILDA / controller switch whan an ILDA dac is connected.
    - SD CARD reader for RAW information written on card with my software.
    - X/Y size control by potentiometer
    - sound sensibility by potentiometer
I am using ATMEGA128 with my firmware made in Assembler language and 2 x 12 bits DACS for X/Y
It runs some frames from Atmega128 flash memory as demo and if there is music with low frequency the controller switch to reading from SD card (each bass for each frame advance).
When there is an ILDA DAC connected to this controller, it is switching between demo or SD program to extern ILDA DAC.

    SMPS
    - +24V / 2A; -24V / 2A

    SCANNER AMPLIFIERS
    - 2 modules, one for each channel
    - made using schematic diagram from CT67xx (DT40PRO)
    - It has 7 adjustable pots : Gain, SVG, LFD, HFD , LIN , POF, PSC

    Scanners
    - it is made using information about CT6800
    - it has optical position detectors
    - the mirrors are 6x5x0.5mm
    - mechanical deflection +20 / -20 degree

I am using a DPSS of 300mw green.
The software (my player) is made in DELPHI but it is not ready 100%. I want to develop it more because I want to write some text in my frames using any windows font.
For more information you can contact me. I am ready for any suggestion.

And a little show (the demo show from flash memory of my controller) . I can modify this demo. This is the link: http://rapidshare.de/files/48552631/MVI_0091.AVI.html

It is very impressive that all the parts are built by yourself, even basic parts like SMPS!

Do you have any photo of the graphics, to see the performance of galvos and servo drive?

    Very nice job!
Do you plan on making the communication protocol with your USB device "open", like via a SDK for other programmers to write programs that can talk to it?
    Thanks, Mike

For 12 seconds cheese laser 'show' more than 20 mb.
How humble have 'Laserfreaks'' become / sunk?

Gento, you are the man and all, but what did you just say?

I'm trying to figure out what the heck Gento is saying

    Babelfish translation fail?
For 12 seconds of cheese laser ' Show' over 20 MT. As ' is undemanding; Laserfreaks' become/sunk?

edit- Looks like a nice product, but 60K scanners? Also, one of the "ILDA in/out" ports should be a male connector.

I believe he is expressing that 12 seconds of a laser show should not be more then 20mb. That second part I do not get.
