    Can you scan a vertical line and a horizontal line for us and take a photo?

    Are you sure your projector is pointing straight at the screen and not at some obtuse angle?

    That looks like your laser is mode-hopping to me..

    Question

    Is this happening before the galvos, as ina a problem with the laser? Or are the galvos producing the problem?

    Is this a homemade projector or a purchased? Cheaper chinese system or higher end?

    I ask because some of these effects could be coming from a shifted optic that may be clipping the beam and causing stray light or double relfections.....

    If you can look inside your projector..... follow the path of the beam and make sure the clear aperture is actually clear..... Then look at the image of the beam on a peice of paper as the the beam exits ths laser itself (Before going thorugh the optics and galvo's) If the beam looks "blobbed" then we can start picking apart whats wrong with the laser.

    Dirt on the optics, loose mirror in the system, mode hopping in the laser.

    Do you have a oscilloscope?

    Take a simple single element lens(eye glasses,manifying glass) and expand the beam to a large, say 1 meter spot on the wall, or as large as you can. Take us a picture of the spot after you do that. Then scan us a horizontal line and a vertical line, with the scanners perpendicular to the wall, and take a picture of each.

    Can you run the laser without external modulation?

    Let me answer your questions:

    To Jem:
    1. yes,i`m doing this picture in few minutes;
    2.yes, the laser projector is perpendicular to the wall.

    To allthatwhichis:
    I dont know if this problem is in the laser doide or in the galvos...

    To LASERGUY:

    1.Its a Laserworld pro 2 green laser (i swear i`ll make money with this to can buy my "RGB" projector with cambridge scanners) pro 2 green laser sistem (runing whit flashback3 and livequick);

    To
    mixedgas:

    1.I dont have a osciloscope,and dont know how to use one, but i`m doing all the pictures you ask me in few minutes...

    Anyway i want to say i`m glad to all atention you guys give to my problem.

    Default the pix you ask...

    Hi again guys...
    The pictures you ask, i hope you can help me.
    I move the diode backwards and i think the double line efect is reduced now, but i remember when this projector cames to me the line was "perfect".

    When i scan horizontal line the double line efect is more visible, in vertical line almost invisible-

    I know you guys dont like laserword products but in the moment its my only
    laser sistem.

    Btw, can someone put a link or a explanation of the "mode hopping in the laser." situation ?

    Thanx again...

    might also be a mirror's coating wearing off

    I bet you'll fix the problem by cleaning the optics and realigning the beam path, anf if the galvo mirrors are in bad state, maybe replace them

    but don't try it before having learned what is needed for such operations, if you don't know already, because you might end up with more work than needed
