Thanks for the kudos See more pics on my site.
Front- and rear plate still missing yet, hope to be done soon.

Collimators have special 405nm coated lenses from mQ-Laser (Germany).
Since I don't have a laser power meter I cannot say how much loss there is but
I had plenty of loss on my original galvo mirrors so I had them changed. Fully satisfied now.

    Default External Fins

Here are a couple pics of the external heatsink attached to the back panel of the 4U box I am going to use. This is going to be the projector where the new 642 dual will live.

Decix I love your projector design! I finally found a projector too leach the entire design off of. I have plenty of heatsink entrusion similar to what you have. Be prepared to see a clone in the next couple month, although I don't think mine will look near as nice. Now I just hope Dr Lava still has some of these nice 642 diodes left.

I will be needing some of those but I can build them myself. I have access to CNC's and I do CNC programming for a living so it won't be a problem. If you could provide more information to help me build them it would be much appreciated. It looks to me like it is a 2 part assembly and the screws adjust the laser up or down and you just rotate the entire mount to adjust left or right. Correct me if I'm wrong on this. What meterial are they made of, brass?

Actually they can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally with the screws. It works surprisingly well, at least for near-field alignment. The threads might be too coarse for easy far-field alignment, but I haven't actually tried it. I use one that I got from Phritzler in my green only projector, so I don't really care about far-field.

I would guess custom made, all of mine are.
I just sold a bunch of sets of leftover heatsinks I had that were 1.5"x1.5".1.0" at $18 for a set of 2.

Ahh I didnt see the set screws until looking closer, now I see how they can be used. looks like a pretty simple build. I might have to try and mass produce a few of these and sell them to fund my projector. How well do think they would work if they were aluminum? I am going to see if I can find some tight tread pitched screws and set screws to make fine adjustments easier.
