Livepro And DMX

Hi,

Cause we can't use dmx fully on livepro, i have tried another approach which can be handy.

I have an Enttec DMX controller on my pc for my DMX lightning, and livepro for the real stuf.

What i did is install a Midi Loopback driver called Loopbe1 that i found, and is free for non commercial use.

In livepro i have changed the midi output to Loopbe1,
In the free dmx software Freestyler, i have selected Loopbe1 as input for the commands.

So i have control with my midi device and touchscreen as input and can control and overwrite my dmx zones.

Maybe this info is useful for someone. It is for me..

Cool idea on ways to use LivePro and DMX!

LoopBE is definitely handy - MIDI sync without external adapters and cables!
Another one that comes in handy (although not free) is MIDIoverLAN - works like LoopBE, only between computers and across a network!
