    Hi guys,

Contacting us directly through our web site contact form is generally the best and fastest way to get our attention.

Regarding the demo version of LivePRO for FB3, yes, that is a good point. There is a "LivePRO Demo EXE" as a part of LD2000, but we just never put it onto the FB3 install CD. We'll have to do that.

If someone wants a demo version of LivePRO just write to me. Normally it won't work without our hardware but there is a way of faking it into working.

On the broader point about demo software, for over 23 years Pangolin has never offered demo software. We're not convinced that it increases sales but we ARE convinced that it increases competition (for example, any competitor can download the demo software without us knowing, copy our features, and there you go...).

For the very latest software (QuickShow) we have a few answers. First, there will be a way to "Apply for a demo version" whereby you can receive a license key to operate the software. That way we will at least know who is looking at our software. Second, with the QuickShow softare, we've applied for a patent on the newest and most advanced parts of the user interface. So this makes us a bit more relaxed about offering a demo version of the software.

Nevertheless, instead of demo software (which again, we don't believe really increases sales), what we DO offer is a 90-day money-back guarantee. Basically we have high confidence in our software and if someone is unhappy with the software, simply return it within 90-days for a refund. No other company in this industry does such a thing...

    Best regards,

    William Benner

This QuckShow that everybody is talking about seems to be some pretty good stuff, any idea on when we will see that for the FB3? I am just wondering if I should try learning the current live quick software if we were going to get an update within a few weeks, or are they basically the same user interface except with more options? Can we get a Beta Demo of it : )

There isn't really that much to learn with LiveQUICK. A lot of it will stand you in good tide for QuickShow anyway

Bill mentioned in another thread that it should be out in a week or so.

As Dave mentioned above, LiveQuick is pretty easy to use. It's also something that you'll probably have some fun with, so go ahead a play with it. It's a useful tool.

No, not really. If anything, Quickshow is more like LA Studio's Showrider, but even that is an imperfect analogy. Quickshow is really something totally different - it's almost a mix of the two. It's very cool though.

In any case, you won't have to wait very long. A week, or two at most, and you should be able to play with it. Until then, there's nothing wrong with playing around with LiveQuick.

Was up until 4am this morning messing with Live Quick and La Studios, both are really ease to use after you understand the user interface…. amazing how fast time fly's when your learning lol if only class was like that. But anyway I can't wait to hook this up to my projector as I was able to make an ok beam show in La Studio which seems to be a far better program then Live Quick It just takes a little more effort though.
Does anybody have any more content for these 2 programs though as their doesn't seem to be that much on the FTP site …. I've downloaded almost everything besides the LD200 stuff. Some nice IDLA frames in there. Also was wondering is it possible for spegitte to export to IDLA so you can import that into La Studio?

Quickshow is very close to Livepro in capabilities just with an easier to use interface. It appears simplistic at 1st glance - I was almost disappointed when I 1st saw it and started to compare it mentally to Spaghetti (!), but its only when you dig deeper you find what it can really do and just how far apart it and LiveQuick are.

Hope Bill won't crucify me for letting one fact out of the bag, but as this question keeps cropping up as to what it can and can't do and many seem to think its quite low end, if I say it can control 32 projection zones does make you feel any better? It certainly isn't low end. The rest you'll have to wait for unless Bill decides to tell you

I'm sure there are differences between it and Livepro but it certainly isn't low end.

If I was buying a control system it would certainly be Pangolin! The FB3 is going to blow away the competition.
