Question Enterprise II ArIon Start problem

I acquired a Coherent Enterprise II. I connected it up today, turned on the water and it won't run. Even the main contactor relay doesn't pull in.

The Power supply has 4 status lights which are:

    Current Limit --- ON
    System Fault --- OFF
    Head Fault --- OFF
    Interlock Fault --- ON

The Peak and Search lights on the head are also on but it seems locked out.

What are the lights telling me? Do I need jumpers somewhere?

    Thanks -- Mike

You need to jump pins 1 and 8 and 2-7 on the external control 15 pin d-sub but if you like i have a control override pcb i could send ya.

I was told elswhere that no jumpers would be needed. :-( I worked my a$$ off moving that beast around today.
What does that board do and how much for me to buy it from you?? or a schematic ?

Thanks for the reply -- Mike

Do you have a pinout of the two connectors on the rear?

Wish I had the tunable or ML head. Mine is the fixed 488 I believe.
I haven't cracked the head open yet.

    Ian ---
You old faart!! I got the 180 page manual and you kept me up late. I now know how to start it up. The board you're sending me is to bypass the remote lockout port I think. I may have to bypass the exterior cooling D-sub too but that will be easy with the info you sent. I'm fired up now

This is the 611 head which is a single line 458 nM I believe.
Anyone know if it's possable to tune this to a stronger line?

You would need different mirrors, I believe it is a sealed tube, meaning you would probably need to get it regassed then.
