    not 100% sure to be honest?

    have plenty more 405 diodes so will start a new setup tomorrow.

    the driver has a thermal heat sink pad thing on the back so nothing can touch the back.

    If that 405 dichro is anything like my Laserwave blue was; the red losses just drop and drop the nearer you get to 90°

    You appear to have enough room to allow for that by moving your 405 module.

    well with everything drilled and fitted so i dont really.

    next time i think i will knife egde the 405 then use a cube to combine with the 473

    Impressive colour palette! Love the white in particular.

    Your red seems to be overspilling the galvos by quite a lot (lots of beam leakage in 1 photo), any chance of narrowing that puppy down?

    Of course, some graphics would be awesome to see as well!

    Reds like that always spill off the galvos.. it's multimode with a fat beam.. Add the combined DVD diodes and that beam is going to be pretty darn big. The only solution I'm aware of is to use bigger mirrors on your galvos, but that invariably slows them down. Andy's found a good balance by making sure the majority of the beam fits on the galvos, but with some tweaking I'm sure a slight reduction might be possible.
