Your red seems to be overspilling the galvos by quite a lot (lots of beam leakage in 1 photo), any chance of narrowing that puppy down?

Of course, some graphics would be awesome to see as well!
Reds like that always spill off the galvos.. it's multimode with a fat beam.. Add the combined DVD diodes and that beam is going to be pretty darn big. The only solution I'm aware of is to use bigger mirrors on your galvos, but that invariably slows them down. Andy's found a good balance by making sure the majority of the beam fits on the galvos, but with some tweaking I'm sure a slight reduction might be possible.

    Great job Andy!! Looks awesome!
    thanks guys

yes the 635nm red has a massive beam they all do. i can/have easily fitted the 2x 650 beams inside the 635 beam. ive done all the tweaking i can and thats the best i can do.

Today I have received dichro's from my new supplier. According to the test my supplier did it looked very promising.

I hope I can find some time this weekend to do some measurements myself.

Man I really need to get a camera that doesn't ruin the way my RGB looks. My camera doesn't see red for shit. What kind of camera are you using there Andy?

my laser camera is a nikon coolpix 8700

full of holes but does take good laser pics and vids.

you should be able to pick one up for like £100

the original vids the camera takes are fantastic, but once combined together, music added, uploaded the quality comes down a fair bit

I recently switched from Adobe Audition to Vegas Pro and the renders are miles nicer.

One answer might be the new DT40W's as they have large mirrors.
