I second that, I take products for review and have a power meter. DAMNNNN I am glad that isn't a JPEG or it would show in the thread.

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

Tell me to how many gigs did you shipped the laser before you needed to re-align?

I know I have to realign my red (far field allignment offcourse) many times after shipping.

My wooden and paper mounts I glued together are also stable when I never move my laser

Let me know when you have have returned from the UKLEM with your projector if the alignment is still spot on after 40 meters...

I use Simon's mounts in my green projectors for beam steering with 10mm mirrors. I can assure you they are solid as a rock. They have done loads of gigs for me and never once needed to be realigned...

Believe me, I'm a qualified toolmaker before getting into telecoms and the engineering on those little mounts is top notch...

Edit: Assuming these are the mounts you are discussing...

    Please, I have a question...because I am just curious.

what is the logic on using a tiny mount to hold something 2 to 3 times the size of the mount. Inquisitive minds want to know

I like the engineering of such a tiny mount...for holding things tiny and fitting into small spaces...May be I am missing something.
